Education Staunton Area Ambulance Service

Welcome to Staunton Area Ambulance Service Education Program

We offer Illinois approved CEU classes. Classes are free and most are open to outside EMT's. All classes are approved by IDPH for hour/hour CEU credit. Please see the training schedule for dates. All class start promptly at 19:00 and are located at the Staunton Area Ambulance Service Building (401 Ash Street, Staunton, Illinois) unless otherwise noted. Please note classes are subject to change. Please call the EMS office (618-635-3290) to verify a specific program.

The Staunton Area Ambulance Service will be hosting an EMT-Basic course, starting January 25, 2010. Classes are Monday & Wednesday nights (18:30-22:00). Currently Staunton Area Ambulance has 2 Illinois Department of Public Health approved EMS Lead Instructors. We also have 5 American Heart Assocation CPR/AED/First Aid instructors.
